The Parish of St Hugh of Lincoln, based at Buckden Towers, is a Catholic community shaped by the missionary charism of the Claretian Missionaries. Rooted in the Gospel, we seek to follow Christ through worship, service, justice, and a deep respect for the dignity of every person.
We strive to be a parish where hospitality is for all – regardless of background, circumstance, or where you may find yourself on your journey of faith. No one should feel excluded, unwelcome, or unable to belong. Our life together is guided by the conviction that nothing can separate us from the love of God.
Whether you are a regular worshipper, new to the area, returning to faith after some time away, or exploring faith for the first time, you are warmly welcome here.
“There is nothing that can separate us from the love of God.” (Romans 8)
“Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart.” (Luke 2:19; 2:51)
At the heart of the Christian life is the call to pause, reflect, and listen. Mary’s quiet pondering of the events of her life offers a model of faith that is attentive, thoughtful, and open to God’s presence.

Quote for the Day:
First keep peace with yourself, then you can also bring peace to others.
Where do you see suffering you can’t ignore—and what is one response you can make?
