At the heart of Buckden Towers, St Stephen’s Community Hub has quickly become a place where people come together to build friendships, support one another and strengthen our local community.
Created to provide a welcoming, accessible and flexible space, the Hub is now home to a growing range of community groups, charities, parish activities and social gatherings. From regular coffee mornings and support groups to meetings, workshops and celebrations, the Hub has become a place where people of all ages and backgrounds can meet in a warm and friendly environment.
Over the past eighteen months we have continued to invest in the facilities, improving accessibility and creating a comfortable, welcoming space that reflects our commitment to serving the wider community. These improvements are part of our ongoing vision to ensure that Buckden Towers is not only a place of historic significance and prayer, but also a vibrant centre of community life.
What makes St Stephen’s Community Hub special is not simply the building itself, but the people who use it. Every week the Hub welcomes local residents, volunteers, community organisations and parishioners, creating opportunities for conversation, learning, companionship and mutual support. New friendships have been formed, local initiatives have flourished, and many people have discovered Buckden Towers for the very first time through activities taking place within the Hub.
