An Intimate Space for Conversation and Reflection

The Parlour offers a smaller, more informal setting within the Main House—one that reflects the hospitality and warmth of Buckden Towers.

Arranged either as a boardroom space for up to 20 people or as a comfortable lounge-style setting for smaller groups, the Parlour is designed to feel less like a formal meeting room and more like a welcoming sitting room.

It is particularly suited for:
Small group discussions
Pastoral meetings and conversations
Spiritual direction or reflective sessions
Informal planning gatherings

The atmosphere of the Parlour encourages openness and attentiveness. It is a space where conversation can unfold naturally, making it ideal for groups seeking a quieter, more personal environment.

Within the wider life of Buckden Towers, the Parlour plays an important role—offering a setting where hospitality, listening, and reflection can take place in a more intimate way.
