Summer Fete for all the Community

On August 15, Buckden Towers welcomed visitors from across the local area for our annual Summer Fête, and despite the very dry summer weather, the historic grounds were full of life throughout the afternoon.

Families enjoyed browsing the wide variety of stalls, meeting local charities and community organisations, discovering handmade crafts, sampling refreshments, and simply spending time together in the beautiful surroundings of Buckden Towers. The children’s activities proved especially popular, while many visitors took the opportunity to relax with food and drinks, enjoying the unique atmosphere of one of Cambridgeshire’s most historic sites.

A huge thank you goes to Pomegranate Events and all of our stallholders, volunteers, performers and visitors who made the day such a success. Events like these are only possible because so many people generously give their time, enthusiasm and support.

Buckden Towers has been welcoming people for centuries, and it was wonderful to see the site once again filled with conversation, laughter and community spirit.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back for future events—and if you haven’t visited Buckden Towers before, keep an eye on our page for more opportunities to enjoy this remarkable place.ry soon.
